Then learn how to style hair in three ways from the incredible Kathryn Dartnell who has worked backstage at London, Paris, New York, Milan fashion weeks for designers such as Vivienne Westwood, Chanel, DKNY, Louise Vuitton, Jeremy Scott. Kathryn has also assisted on projects for Vogue and Alexander McQueen. This course will give you the knowledge to create stunning commercial hair that you can take back to the salon and leave you excited and inspired about hairdressing with a combination of modern haircutting and runway styling. LAYER with special guest Kathryn Dartnell is an unmissable day of knowledge. The day: AM. LAYERS. Cool, sexy modern layered haircut with shaping around the face explaining ways to create the haircut everyone wants with EASE. shares how to style the haircut with no heat working with natural texture, product and your hands. Jack uses a modern approach to teaching how to layer where the group all have a mannequin each. Jack demonstrates the haircut whilst students cut with him section by section. We have found this to be a fantastic way of teaching that allows students to really understand what they are doing and more importantly WHY they are doing it. PM. TIME TO STYLE. In the afternoon Kathryn will turn our air dried mannequins into beautiful, smooth and glamorous blowdries creating the perfect finish, sharing her tips on product use, tools for success and photo shoot/Runway ready hair.
